| Okay, so if you want to come to Vanessa's party on FRIDAY (this friday!), can you either call me or email me or IM me or contact me in some way, shape, or form so I know whether or not you'll be there? I don't care if you have to send smoke signals, just let me know! Don't forget to bring some sort of food, or we'll all go hungry! (not really, but whatev) I hope you come! It'll be fun. With Vanessa, you can't expect anything less. =]

| I decided to walk in the MS Society Walk this year in memory of my aunt Marilyn. I need to raise a minimum of $50.00 before the walk. If you want to donate, or join in on the walk if you live around the Pittsburgh area, go here: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?px=3134745&pg=personal&fr_id=6070 |

| I got into a car accident last Sunday. I totaled my dad's truck to boot. I was with 3 of my friends (Vanessa, Sarah, and Brandi) and I hit a patch of black ice and lost control. I went to turn into the spin and just spin out, but I saw that there was a car coming toward me that wouldn't have had time to stop. So I turned the wheel the opposite way and went down an embankment. I almost hit a road sign/parked 18-wheeler but was able to get away from that, and then on my side (the left side obviously) I brushed past a telephone pole. It took out the front bumper, headlight, door handle, sideview mirror, and tail light all on the driver's (my) side. An inch closer and yeah, I probably wouldn't be typing this. We ran over a sapling tree, and one of the telephone poll's guidelines. And apparently (we didn't realize it at the time) I hit the tailgate of a junked out truck. Then the back of the truck spun around and we stopped in the middle of a three foot deep snowdrift, facing the road. Thankfully we were all okay. We were all pretty much just sore. My dad isn't mad at me, just glad that I'm okay. But he is going to need a new car, seeing as the front axle got bent beyond repair. It just makes me see how fragile everything is--from the truck to our lives. And inch to the left and I would have been roadkill. A few inches to the right, and the other girls wouldn't have been much better off. If Sarah hadn't been holding that container of cookies in her lap, she would have hit her head off the rear view mirror pretty hard, maybe even gone through the windsheild seeing as she was in the middle and didn't have a chest strap. Brandi didn't even have her seatbelt on (she didn't know it was there)...If I hadn't swerved back to the right, I would have hit another person in another car. We were all so close to being the top story on the 5 o clock news. Thank God for your life.
